 ...Definition 1: A googol is the number 10100, or a 1 followed by 100 zeroes. Definition 2: A googolplex is the number 10googol, or a 1 followed by a googol zeroes. Task 1: Suppose you were to count from 1, 2, 3, ... up to a googol, counting a number per second. How long would this take? Task 2: Suppose you were to write down the number for googolplex (i.e. 1000000.....), requiring 1 inch for every 10 zeros. How long of a strip of paper would you need?
