But You Can't Take Logs of Negative Numbers!

Theorem: ln(-1) = 0

Proof:

By first focusing on the log rule, ln(-1)2 = 2ln(-1)

But, by focusing first on the exponent, ln(-1)2 = ln(1) = 0

Thus, by the transitive property, 2ln(-1) = 0

Dividing both sides by 2, ln(-1) = 0

Q.E.D.
