You Should See the Ones I Did Not Share...3,498 of Them!
Recently, I completed reading Gerald Lieberman's 3,500 Good Jokes For Speakers (1975), with the hope of finding some new humor. Alas, it was a painful read, as few of the jokes were humorous. But, I did find two that were useful in a mathematics context and I offer them in revised form.
Cubic: An equation from Cuba.
"Whaddaya yappin' about? screamed the drunk at his complaining wife. "I got in a quarter of twelve."
"You did not, you drunken louse," said lovey. "I heard the clock strike three."
"Well," he cooed. "Ain't three a quarter of twelve?"
