A local news reporter was interviewing a local rancher for a story on ranching.
The reporter: "Say, Hank, how many cattle do you have grazing on your range?"
Hank replied, "458."
One day later, the news reporter called Hank to do a double-check on the data in the story.
The reporter: "Now, Hank, you said you had 458 cattle grazing on your range, right?"
Hank: "Not true, I have 500 cattle."
Confused, the reporter asked for clarification: "But yesterday you said that you had 458."
Hank: "That's right...but that was before I rounded them up!"
