Meet 134340

Imagine its embarassment! The once-planet Pluto has been stripped of its name (and planet-hood).

As a non-planetary celestial object, it is now relegated to live amongst astroids and minor planet-like bodies.... which are given numbers rather than names. Pluto is now 134,340 out of 136,563 such bodies....not even a prime number at that.

Yet, the word "Pluto" has now regained status and will live on as a verb. That is, if you have been "plutoed," you have been dumped.

I can hear the math education slogans now..."Pluto Long Division!"
