Research on #2
A New Year...full of valuable research and statistics. I look forward with excitement (and skepticism)...
For example, I recently came across some "revealing" research from 2011. Somehow I missed this gem, even though the research was done in my home state.
Basically, a survey done at Washington State University showed that "students valued good network service over operational bathrooms."
How can this be? Immediately after the research statement, the same article continued: "In response ResNet administrators across the country are turning to creative solutions to meet student connectivity needs..."
With research questions and results like this, how do we have any chance of focusing on improving math education?
