It's That Time Again.....
Using the theme Reaching New Heights in Mathematics, the 47th Annual Northwest Mathematics Conference will be held October 9-11, 2008, in Portland, OR. Four key themes are: (1) Best Practices in Instruction and Assessment, (2) Standards and NCTM Focal Points, (3) Historical Perspectives in Mathematics, and (4) Future Trends in Mathematics.
The conference sessions include full-day institutes, an opening session/reception (Thursday evening), a special Saturday breakfast, plus the standard conference schedule of sessions, workshops, work sessions, and minicourses.
