Looking Ahead...50th Year Celebration!

The 50th Annual Northwest Mathematics Conference will be held October 13-15, 2011, in Portland (Red Lion Hotel on the River at Jantzen Beach). Some of the featured speakers are Mike Shaughnessy (NCTM President and Oregon Math Ed Leader), Irv Lubliner (Oregon Math Enthusiast), Kim Sutton (author), Greg Tang (renowned speaker and author), Barbara Novelli (gifed educator), James Burnett (passionate educator), Judith Hillen (creative teacher), Don Fraser (humorous speaker), and Brian Tickle (consultant and author).

The conference sessions include full-day institutes, an opening session/reception (Thursday evening), a special Saturday breakfast, plus the standard conference schedule of sessions, workshops, work sessions, and minicourses.

If you have never attended a Northwest Math Conference (and if you have), now is the time to put it on your schedule....as the conference is an outstanding experience:
