And the Son's Frustration Continues...
To begin the school year, I am reprinting a "classic" Mathematician of the Week from 1/18/2009...as an example of what you will find in the Archives....
A parent called to his son across a field, and bade him come half the distance that separated them towards him. Then again to come half the distance between them. And yet again half the distance. And so on. Is it not true that the boy can never reach his father?
