A "Holiday" Quote

I can't stand to sing the same song the same way two nights in succession, let alone two years or ten years.
If you can, then it ain't music, it's close-order drill or exercise or yodeling or something, not music.

Billy Holiday
Blues singer (1915-1959)

Why is this quote important? First, it technically is a "holiday" quote and it seemed more relevant than other holiday quotes. Second, re-write the quote so that it comes from the perspective of a mathematics teacher, not a singer:

I can't stand to teach mathematics the same way two classes in succession, let alone two years or ten years.
If you can, then it ain't mathematics, it's close-order drill or exercise or yodeling or something, not mathematics.
