Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land....Now on DVD

While you are in the mood for an animated movie (e.g. last week's Flatland: The Movie), you might as well obtain an up-to-date version of Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land, a product of Walt Disney (1959). Many of you may remember watching or showing Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land in a mathematics classroom....and even fewer of you may be proud owners of the comic book version (even available in Japanese).

VHS copies of the video version of Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land often are being sold on e-bay. But why settle for that?

You can buy a new DVD version of Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land at Disney Edu-Station for a reasonable price ($60). It comes with special features (e.g. links) for educator use of the DVD in mathematics classrooms.

Again, get a copy...and for the sake of preserving a piece of personal history, watch it, show it, discuss it...students will remember the mathematics it contains!
