In the year 2001, someone claimed that more than 98% of the words listed in a standard English dictionary have been registered as domain names. This claim does not include the usage of single words as part of a combined word (e.g. mathnexus) or special coinages (e.g. wwu).

Investigation: Is this claim true? Create an experiment that could shed some light on its veracity. You will probably need a dictionary and use of a web site that tells you if a particular word has been registered as a domain name. Remember to account for the great number of possible "dot labels" such as edu, com, ws, etc.
