Fact 1: In the year 2006, United States publishers took in just over $35,000,000,000 in book sales.

Fact 2: These same publishers put out about 172,000 new titles and editions.

Question: On average for a given day, how many new titles and editions are issued ... and what amount is spent by the book-buying crowd?
