Meany, Mediany, Modey Moe

Fact 1:In the year 2005, the median age of a person in the United States was 35.3 years.

Question 1: The median is one measure of central tendency. Do you thing the mean age and mode age are greater than, equal to, or less than the median age? Explain your reasoning...and then try to find the correct data as a check on your conjecture.

Fact 2:Again in the year 2005, for males and females in the United States, the median ages are 34.94 years and 37.6 years respectively.

Question 2: Use the given information to calculate the percentages of males and females in the total United States population. Again explain your reasoning...and then try to find the correct data as a check on your conjecture.
