Vampires are ABO Positive!

Blood donors are rare...and some are more rare than others, figuratively and literally. World statistics suggest the following breakdown for blood types:

  • O Positive: 37.4%
  • O Negative: 6.6%
  • A Positive: 35.7%
  • A Negative: 6.3%
  • B Positive: 8.5%
  • B Negative: 1.5%
  • AB Positive: 3.4%
  • AB Negative: 0.6%
Question #1: Do these statistics fit "your world"? That is, gather data from your people you know, etc.

Question #2: Do these statistics fit "the world"? That is, gather data from the Internet, local blood banks, etc.

Question #3: Do these statistics fit "each" different nationality? If not, how does this affect the proposed statistics?

Question #4: Do these statistics change over time, as note that the statistics provided are from 1981?
