Do You Believe This Claim?

New claims are made every day...which by definition, means that the assertions are offered as facts.

For example, consider the following "claim," made by a mathematics education group...

Did You Know?
That after demographic factors, the strongest predictor of earnings after graduation from high school is the number of mathematical courses completed?

How could this "fact" be determined? That is, was multiple regression used...or...?

Do you think it is true....currently?

New idea...change the criteria from "mathematical courses completed" to "mathematical courses where person learned something"....sorry, just wishful thinging beyond the jumping-through-hoops phenomena!
