A Third Piece of Pizza?

The previous two week's statistics dealt with records for the largest pizzas ever made.

To continue to "chew" facts about pizza, Butlers Pizza in Cape Town, South Africa, set the record for the longest pizza delivery on March 22, 2001. Bernard Jordaan, an employee of Butlers Pizza, hand-delivered a pizza to Corne Krige, the captain of the Fedsure Stormers Rugby Team in Sydney, Australia. Total distance travelled one-way was 6,861 miles.

Question 1: If the standard delivery charge is $0.32 per mile, what was the cost of the pizza (assuming that the base charge is $1)?

Question 2: The previous distance record was 185 km. How many times further was this trip?
