Mandi Martin's MillenniuM Pinball Marathon

A former studio recording artists, Mandi Martin set her first Pinball Endurance Record during June 26-July 1, 1978, when she played for 140 hours and 32 minutes (just under 6 days). She set her second record during October 20 - November 10, 1979, playing for 505 hours (3 weeks & 1 hour)....on a single quarter. Her highest score is 1.8 billion!

Then, in March 2000, Mandi celebrated her 55th birthday by playing on one pinball machine for 555 hours, 55 minutes, and 55 seconds...on a single quarter. That is the equivalent of about 23 days!

Under Guiness rules, she was allowed a 5 minute break every hour of playing, which she accumulated to provide small breaks for naps. She had trained her body to adjust to needing food on a every-other-day basis. Also, proir to the endurance attempt, Mandi had worked out in a gym to build up her forearms.

Sorry, no real question for this statistic (i.e. estimate how far the pin ball travel during this time?)...except WHY?
